From Addiction to Control

For many years I was addicted to online casinos in Spain. I lost money, relationships, and almost lost control of my life. I was constantly lying and living with constant anxiety.

The big advantage I had was that I studied Psychology. Thanks to my studies, I knew exactly how and where to look for professional help when I hit rock bottom.

In Spain I worked as a psychological counselor and also as a domestic worker. Despite my theoretical knowledge, addiction beat me for a while. I lost everything I had built.

When I had nothing left, I made the hardest decision of my life: returning to Romania. It was a moment of total humility, but also the beginning of my real recovery.

After returning, I rebuilt my life from zero. Today I live mainly from my work as a freelancer. Gambling has become only occasional entertainment, always with very strict rules I set for myself.
